I’d like blinds for my conservatory. Can I order online and are they difficult to fit?

you can order blinds for the sides of your conservatory from Blinds Direct 2 U.

the most popular types are vertical blinds, venetian blinds and pleated blinds.

if you have a upvc conservatory you just need to take care to avoid screwing into the sealed unit when you fit your blinds.

if you want blinds for the roof of your conservatory, we recommend you make an appointment with your local outlet, which will offer an expert measuring and fitting service.
 

What type of wood are your wooden Venetian blinds made of?

our wood venetians are made from basswood grown in sustainable forests.

basswood is perfect for venetian blinds because of its strength and flexibility.

the wood is kiln dried, which stabilises it, cut into slats then stained in different colours. like all our blinds, our wooden venetian blinds are tested and checked before they leave the factory.

Do you sell blackout blinds?

yes. we have a selection of blackout roller blinds and blackout roman blinds

Do any of your blinds help to keep the heat out in summer as well as light?

all our blinds are designed to reduce light, but our pleated blinds are ideal for keeping the temperature comfortable too.

they reduce heat in summer and keep it inside in the winter.

Do your Vertical blinds come with a headrail and can I choose the colour?

our vertical blinds come with a white headrail as standard. we also offer optional black and champaign colour headrails.

if you already have a headrail you want to keep, you can just buy new louvres.

these have white bottom weights, chains and hangers.
 

Do your Roman blinds have a side winding mechanism?

all our roman blinds come with chain operated mechanisms.

yes we have a wide range of washable fabrics.

Are your blinds safe to install in children's rooms?

our blinds are all rigorously tested to make sure they’re safe around children and animals.

if you have large blinds with hanging cords, contact us and ask for a child safety device to keep them out of reach.
 

How do I compare blind types and prices?

1. choose the blind and the fabric you’re interested in
2. enter size and options.
3. click on add to cart
4. select your next desired blind
5. click on add to cart
6. you will then be able to view your selection in your cart and delete what you don’t need
    

Can I review what I want to buy once I’ve added the items to my cart?
